Time to post new projects!

What? No posts since March? Well….I’ve been busy dipping my hands into several crafty things from crocheting to drawing new prayer doodles to wrapping bottles and jars with yarn. I’ll post pictures!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Cocoon & Hat

So excited about this little creation! A cocoon and hat, newborn sized, inspired by Eric Carle’s  book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This little duo works perfectly for a newborn photo shoot.

But THIS  particular set is headed to Duluth, MN to be auctioned at the Blue Line Ball, presented by the Back the Blue Line: Police Wives of the Twin Cities.

I forgot all about sharing Sheldon with you! He was my first turtle and was sent to Illinois to meet his new family.  Such a sweet looking little guy 🙂

Turtle Friends

These two little turtle friends are headed to Texas to the Primrose School at Hidden Lakes.

The school is holding their Spring Fling fundraiser with all proceeds going to Captain Hopes Kids, a Dallas/ Ft. Worth organization that assists homeless children.

My mermaid girl = complete

Here is the mermaid girl I’d been working on. She took quite a bit of time, mostly due to all the little details and attaching the hair one strand at a time. But I think she turned out really great!!

For my son’s 5th birthday party, I made superhero capes for all the kids, and he and I worked together to give each one a super power 🙂 They were so simple to make and made everyone happy. I even had reports from a few parents that their child wouldn’t take it off all day and one even declared he was going to wear it for the rest of his life! Haha!!
